Home Early (Calista and Makota)

Finally! Calista was able to leave work early! She loved being an ambassador for the council and a part time model, but she just wanted to be home with her family today. So she grabbed all her work things and flitted to her little home.

She walked into her house and looked around, no one was in the living room. " Hello? I'm home!" She shouted through the house. " Makota! Iris! Drake! Alistair! Rena! Anyone home?" She asked as she looked around the house. She looked up stairs, downstairs, everywhere. She didn't see anyone.

" Guess I'll just sit and wait a bit." She mumbled as she sat down on the couch, a book in her hand. She did want to talk to Makota about a few things. Calista had been thinking about this for a long long time, but didn't know what Makota's thoughts on it would be. She wanted to ask her to marry Calista. But, wanted to get her thoughts on marriage before actually asking her though.

Makota had put Alistair down...finally...he was so energetic. Rena was out for her nap as well. Iris seemed to be out with Drake. They had said they were going for the day to hangout with Drake's boyfriend Jessie. She was in the basement working on an outfit for her beautiful model girlfriend Calista when she caught a familiar voice speaking throughout the house. She stood up and hmmmed a bit. "Calista?" She said.

Cheering up as she got up. Moving away the outfit. Moves upstairs with short flits before she found her. "You're home!" She criedo ut. Flitting and threw herself into Calista's form. Kissing her over and over again. "I wasn't expecting you home. The youngest are down for a nap. The older twins are hanging with their best friend together." She straddled her mate and girlfriend's lap. Kissing her over and over again.

Calista had been sitting on the couch, waiting for someone, when she heard the sound of someone flitting. She stood up and saw her beautiful girlfriend Makota coming towards her. She smiled. " Yes I am home, much earlier than I had originally thought." She said with a laugh, she caught Makota in her arms and kissed her.

Calista sat down on the couch and she pulled her close. " Ah ok. I thought you had all gone out or something." She said as she kissed Makota again and again, she moved her hands around her waist. " I missed you." She told her softly as she moved some of Makota's pink hair. " So, I have an idea. Why don't we get Lulu, Liza, or Drake to baby sit while you and I go out for dinner tonight?" She asked her.

Makota sat straddling Calista and smiled. Her heart racing faster as she was born one she had a faint heartbeat. Not a human level one and it would never register on a stethescope but still one. She giggled when her girlfriend caught her in her arms. Listening to her words as she spoke. "I am glad. That makes me happy. I told you that even being a vampire working yourself to death isn't going to work." She said softly. Kissing her back and held onto her. Giggling as Makota hadn't realized that Calista had stood to catch her but now she was properly straddling her gorgeous girlfriends lap. "No. I was working on something for you." She said with a smile. Kissing her over and over again. Enjoying hearing the kisses. People wouldn't understand their relationship but Calista did. Leaning into her hold. "I missed you...I'm glad you came back. Even if Drake always watching you like a hawk." She said softly. "Why don't you ask drake...he is probably spying." She said with a giggle. Drake always did that.

Calista smiled she could hear Makota's heart racing and smirked. " That excited to see me?" She asked with a raised eye brow as she held Makota close. She giggled softly. " I know love, that's why I'm trying to work less hours. But I'm failing completely." She said with a laugh, she worked as hard as she did because she didn't want to return to the life she had, especially not with Makota and both the twins. If that meant she had to work herself to death than she would. She kissed her back and smiled. " Oh? What were you working on? Can I see it?" She asked her eyes full of excitement, you could tell Iris was her mothers daughter when Calista got like this. Calista kissed Makota over and over again and smirked, she didn't care if other people understood their relationship. She did and so did Makota, as well as their children and family, that's all that mattered to her.

Calista smiled and stroked Makota's hair. " I'm glad I came back to. I had thought for as long as I was gone, that you had moved on, I secretly hoped you had because I didn't feel worthy enough for you. I felt you deserved better than anything I could give you, same with Drake and Iris, I felt like someone else out there could make you much happier than I ever could. But now, i wish i had never left because leaving you with the twins alone was the worst thing I had ever done." She told her softly, if she had a time machine she would go back in time and fix all the wrongs she had done, but she couldn't, she could only go forward.

Calista sighed. " Yes I know. Drake is always scared I am going to run off again even when I promised him I wouldn't. He acts more and more like Jared every day, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing." She said with a soft giggle. She nodded and peered around the corner. " Drake! C'mere a second would you please!" She shouted so Drake would hear her.

Drake had been spying on them since his mother had gotten home. He had made sure he was not seen or heard. But when he heard his mother shout he sighed and looked a bit annoyed at her and Makota. " What mother?" He asked as he leaned against the door frame and looked at them on the couch

Calista looked at him and saw the annoyed scowl on his face. Yep. Definitely Jared's nephew. She smiled at him. " Would you mind babysitting your siblings tonight while me and mom go out to eat for dinner tonight?" She asked him politely. " Please."

Drake sighed and rolled his eyes. " Fine. Whatever. I'll make them dinner and make sure they go to bed early. I want 10 dollars an hour though. Otherwise you find someone else." He told them with a smirk on his face.

Calista sighed. " Fine." She said and watched him walk off before turning back to Makota. " Yep It's a bad thing he is becoming like Jared." She said with a firm nod and with a small laugh.

Makota giggled and nodded her head. "Yes. I am. You are rarely home early. I am just glad that I can expect you to come home." She said happily. Blushing then kissed her girlfriend over and over again. Listening to her as she spoke. "You do just fine." She said with a giggle. Looking at her and shook her head. "no. Not yet. You can't see it yet. By tomorrow or the next day yes. You can model it too then." She said brightly and happily. Giggling more as she blushed more and kissed back for each kiss calista returned or gave her. Smiling happily as she leaned into her. Resting her head on Calista's shoulder. Listening to her as she spoke. "I did...for awhile...then he died saving me. Then I was having a hard time just keeping it together for both sets of twins." She said honestly.

Sighing contently as her hair was stroked. Her pink strands were like silk and it was probably noticably so. "It was so much easier when you returned. You have been back for centuries and even though I loved and will always love Ronan...I'm so happy I'm not alone anymore. That we are together again...and have been for decades and decades now." She said softly. She smiled a bit. "I don't wish to undo what happened in the past...but promise me...it won't happen again Calista. I really love you and I never stopped loving you." She said softly yet happily.

Waiting as she called Drake over. She knew he probably hadn't beent that far. She shifted from straddling Calista...to sitting sideways in Calista's lap. She looked at Drake a bit. "Drake please don't look at your mother that way." She said softly with a sigh. Listening to the two of them interacting. She tried to not burst into giggles or smile too much. Her hand covering her lips though probably told she was having a hard time keeping a straight face. "10 dollars an hour...for each of the siblings...that makes 30 dollars an hour. Sound good Drake?" She said with a straight face before she watched the negotiations go down smoothly. Bursting into giggles and shook her head. "I don't think so. I think he is just becoming a variant but its not a bad thing. Jared has sacrificed so much...given up so much over the years. Of himself...literally lost pieces of himself for this family...if anything the fact Drake has the same instincts and nature is a good thing because it means he will protect his family and his siblings. He will be a force you don't want after you for harming one of his own....I don't think his taking after my twin is a bad thing." She said softly.

Falling silent. There was a lot that Calista had been hinted of and even more that only the men of the family knew. That she knew...that the male sides of the family knew. Even more still that she knew that Jared kept from others outside maybe Liza at times. There was a lot...many people didn't know. About Jared's sacrifices and all that he does for the family. Where you could see it and most of it behind the scenes or it wasn't right in your face. "Are you ready to go?" She asked curiously after a moment. Smiling excitedly and hopefully.

Calista smiled and kissed Makota. " I will always come back, come hell or high water I will come back." She told her, meaning it, after Calista had left Makota that one time to find herself she vowed to never leave her again. Calista pouted a bit but nodded. " Fiiiine. I guess I'll wait until tomorrow or the next day, although it'll be hard." She said before shrugging. " Guess I'll have to find some other way to occupy my time." She added before peppering Makota's neck with kisses and small nips. She held Makota close and ran her hand up and down her back, playing with her bubblegum pink hair, she thought about her saying she had moved on with a man before he had died protecting her. " I know, but luckily I had come back in time so you could grieve his death while I took care of both sets of twins." She said softly.

Calista loved how soft and silky Makota's hair was, she listened to her. " And you'll never be alone again. Now that I've finally come back I don't plan on leaving ever again." She kissed the top of her head. " I promise, it'll never happen again. I'd rather die than leave you and our children again." She told her honestly, once Calista had found herself she knew that she wanted to be with Makota forever and ever and never leave her again. " I love you too Makota, I always have and I always will." Calista added as she kissed the top of her head again.

Calista readjusted her hold as Makota sat side ways instead of straddling her lap. Drake just rolled his eyes at Makota and muttered that he could glare at Calista if he wanted too. Calista glanced and saw her trying to keep a straight face and just smiled, Drake shook his head and said that was fine, as long as he got paid, he walked away and left the two of them alone. Calista sighed and shook her head. She listened and nodded. " I know Jared has, I love your brother to death, but still I wish Drake took more of his charming traits towards me instead of being an ass to me and thinking I'll run off again." She sighed. " I like he is as protective as Jared and will do anything to protect his family, but still." She shrugged a bit, she had known Jared had sacrificed a lot in order to be where he was today. " I'm ready whenever you are my dear."
