Minori was born to a snow elemental and a ghost who had acquired a vessel. Unlike others that are the same creature as her, she happened to be born one. She had high expectations growing up due to being an only child. Minori was never able to go to school with others her age while living in her home country of Japan due to being feared by mortals although some were sympathetic. Her childhood was spent being very lonely and took everytime she was able to interact with some living thing to granted.

The only education Minori ever got growing up was experiences her mother had while her father taught her basic math skills and how to read and write. She was envious of those who were able to go to school and make friends since she was unable to. One day, she had managed to get a letter to go to Luna Vermiculus University, and her life had improved for the better.
