Catching Up With Friends (Angelus & Danielle)

((OOC: chrissy mentioned Makota was becoming engaged...so going off that assumption for its already happened for this thread))

Makota had booked reservations for three at a delicious resturaunt in the human world. Sending an email...with Calista and Drakes help...coordinating plans with Angelus about the next time the married couple had off at the same time...then a time...to catch up. It had taken awhile but she booked reservations at a delicious resturaunt. Sent the time and confirmation to Angelus and Danielle...again with her mate and eldest sons help...and told them she would meet them there. Calista was off tonight so she was watching all of their kids.

Flitting until she stopped in the shadows she made her way to the resturaunt. Telling them she had a reservation for three...under the name of Blazon...and being guided to a table. The place was lovely. It even had its own pub as well. Smoothing out the skirt and fixing her top she brushed strands of pink long hair back over her shoulders. She was so very excited! Alyce was taken care of as well. Her hands were ringing the napkin in her lap. She couldn't wait to see her dear friends...Angelus and Danielle. It had been so long! Since their wedding and the baby shower for Alyce's birth.

She played with the ring on her finger. So much to catch up on! With everything. This time things weren't going to end up with off again. They had been together for many decades. Even if Drake was acting very protective now even against his own mother...everything would work out just fine.

Dani had very busy lately and couldn't wait for her next day off. She loved helping people, but she just wanted a little time with her family. She knew Angel needed a day off too because they rarely saw each other unless they were on the same floor, they were both working their butts off for Havergaust. Finally, one weekend she and Angel happened to get the same day off, Dani spent most of the day with her husband and Alyce. When he told her that he got an email from Makota asking to go to eat at a restaurant and catch up. Dani was very happy when Angel told her and said to reply that they would meet her there.

Dani was so excited when evening came, she hadn't seen Makota since her and Angel's wedding and Alyce's baby shower. She decided to wear her Best Dress and she put on simple make up and kept her hair down and simple as well. She looked down at her left ring finger and smiled fondly at her wedding band and engagement ring, Angel had asked why she always wore both once and she explained that because both rings represent two of the four best days of her life. Once Alyce's baby sitter arrived she kissed her daughter and told her that they would be back soon and hugged her tightly before leaving.

Dani was a bit worried about leaving Alyce with the sitter, she knew she shouldn't dwell on it but she couldn't help it. She was very protective of her child and husband. Angel had to tell her many times not to worry that she would be okay. By the time Dani had calmed down and her worry went away they had gotten to the restaurant. She walked up to the host with Angel and told him the reservation was under 'Blazon' he took them to the table and she saw the bubble gum pink haired woman herself sitting there. Dani smiled brightly at her friend. " Makota! It's been ages! How're you? How're the kids?" She asked as she hugged her tightly when she came to the table.

Since they been working at the Asylum it always seemed like all they ever did was work and he knew that they needed time away once in awhile. Not often were they allowed to have the same night off, but they had gotten lucky this time. Angel would keep the fact to himself that he promised Vincent extra time if he would give them this night off together because he knew how much it would mean to Dani.

Angel had been ready to go for a hour and once he was finally able to convince Dani how beautiful she looked in anything that she had in the closet. The next hurdle that they needed to overcome was to convince her that Alyce would be fine with the sitter. She was a family friend after all. After what seemed like eternity they were finally able to head out to the restaurant.

Once they arrived at the restaurant Angel opened the door allowing Dani to walk in first and she was also the first to find Makota, leave it to the women. "Hello Makota dear." Angel said with a smile, "I am glad we could meet, Dani has been missing you terribly."

Makota was waiting on Danielle and Angelus to show up. She wondered if they would show up together or if they would show up one after the other. She knew that Danielle was probably spending a very long time finding the "perfect" dress. She knew that poor Angelus was probably spending that same amount of time convincing Danielle while she changed repeatedly that she looked beautiful. The idea of it made her giggle. They had such a lively family. Honestly she had been so relieved when Danielle made it through the various scares and depressions then close call she had from birthing their lovely daughter Alyce. In her mind if there was anyone who deserved to be parents it was Danielle and Angelus Moody. She had prayed for decades into centuries. Shaking her head as she faintly heard the resturaunt doors opening and closing.

Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she sighed when it wasn't the Moody's. After another few minutes the door opened and the two people she was waiting for were guided over to her table. Lighting up as she stood up and moved to hug Danielle. "Danielle! You look beautiful as always Dearie." She said. Planting a chaste kiss on each side of Danielle's face. One to each check then air kissed the space by the woman's face. having let out such a girlish sound of delight seeing both her good friends. "I'm great. Drake and Iris are having young teenager issues. The youngest are getting so big now. They are nearing adolesence at least by appearance. They age a little differently due to the father Ronan's lines were a little different...more like vampire meets Sidhe." she said with a bright smile. "Drake and Iris are experiencing first loves I believe."

Pulling away as seconds later Angelus had closed the remaining distance. Moving over to Angelus and greeted him the exact same way she had Danielle. A tight yet gentle hug embrace. A chaste kiss to each cheek. Another into the air by his cheeks before pulling back and smiling at them. "I missed you both. You are an extension of the family and the youngest twins can't wait to have another play date with your daughter. I have missed you both terribly. I know you missed me too." She said. Moving to sit down after releasing Angelus from the hold. "Calista and I are still doing great...it was thanks to the two of you giving me such great advice. I have great news also." She said. Sitting down and the waiter came asking them what they wanted to drink.
