Personality: Lafayette is a partyboy, after being turned late in the seventeenth century he rebelled against his traditional gentlemanly upbringing and decided to enjoy the parties and joys of the night. He doesn’t keep many friends though, usually only one or two and he doesn’t have a stable relationship status preferring to live up to his rock star status of living the high life and not doing much else.
Lafayette can be loyal however, and when he is alone with his true friends he is a real gentlemn. He finds mortal life fascinating and looks for people who see life differently, he loves to drink and loves to enjoy life and all the pleasures it can bring.
If you can become friends with Lestat he will show you how much he cares, he tries his best to be a good friend. However being a celebrity has its downsides, as his friends often get pushed into the limelight which he doesn’t like.


Background: Before being turned in 1698, Lafayette grew up as the son of a Catholic Pastor. He had a sister and a devoted mother as well as his strict father. At a very early age he helped his father in their local church, his father did witch hunts and vampire hunts as well. However no real witches or vampires were ever found, and many innocent muggles were killed on behalf of his father.
At the age of twenty-six Lafayette's violin playing caused him to become an interest to a crazed vampire. Ironically Lafayette was walking home from a church sermon about Vampires on the night he was kidnapped and turned into a vampire. He never knew his maker, as he was left to his own devices. Lafayette searched out a vampire he had heard of, Marius. Together they were close friends for several decades, until Lestat wanted to do other things. They still remained friends but Lafayette moved on to pursue his interests.
For over a century he remained in the muggle world before getting bored of having to hide his true identity and in the mid 1980’s revealed himself as a Rock Star to the Magic world, he let everyone know his secret as well. Letting people embrace his darker side, he found it fascinating how accepting the Wizarding community could be. He kept friendship with a few vampires but not many, as many didn’t agree with his embracing and showing off of his Vampiric side.

The Northmans were a simple, traditional strict Catholic family. They were the Pastor family in a small village just outside of Paris. They were a strict family, and came from a long line of Catholic believers. Northmans believed in keeping things simple, and it was passed down through the family generations. The only surviving member left is Lafayette, as his sister was unable to have children when she was alive.
